There are many ways that Abigail can die inThe Quarry, but specific choices need to be made in order to keep her alive until the end. When the group makes it to the pool area, Nick's symptoms will start to get worse. Just before he transforms into a werewolf, he will throw Abi across the room. Abi will then have the chance to pick up a shotgun and shoot Nick. If this opportunity is missed, Nick will slam Abi against the wall and rip her head off. Shooting Nick is the only way to save Abi in this scene. SinceNick is transforming, the shot will only scare him off, and players will get a chance to save him later on.
If Emma is infected, thenthenext major two events that can make Abi die inThe Quarry will be in chapters eight and nine. It's easier to save Abi if players can also stop Emma from being bitten. This will depend ona few choices in chapter four, including searching the bags before inspecting the trapdoor in the treehouse and going across the zipline slowly. The decision that keeps Abi alive in chapter eight will only be necessary if Emma was bitten. Emmawilltransform ineither chapter eight or nine depending on whenshe was bitten. If Emma transforms in chapter eight, then players will need to save Abi from being killed by her. While playing as Kaitlyn, the group will approach a van, and Emma will jump out. There will only be a short window to shoot Emma so that she doesn't chase down and kill Abi. As long as Kaitlyn shoots Emma, Abi will besaved inThe Quarry.
How toMakeAbi Survive In The Quarry Chapter Nine
If Emma is infected but doesn't transform in chapter eight, then she will turn in chapter nine. When Emma and Abi are in the basem*nt, the transformation will happen, and players will get the option to run for the stairs or the ladder. Abi needs to take the ladder and succeed at the quick-time event in order to survive. If the event is completed without Abi dying, then she will be safe and make it to the end ofThe Quarry.
